Learn the Process

Prepare Your Content in Markdown

First, create the content you want to visualize as a mind map. It can be new content or content that you are studying and want to illustrate.

Ask ChatGPT to Generate the Necessary Code

You can ask ChatGPT to help you convert your content into a more structured format if needed. If you have more details or want something more complex, you can specify that.

You can use a prompt like:

“Convert this outline into Markmap-compatible Markdown for a mind map on this topic. Use clear hierarchy and bullet points.”

Or, if you want something more complex:

“Generate a Markmap mind map in Markdown format that explains the ethical use of AI in higher education. Include sections on benefits, risks, real-world examples, and critical thinking strategies.”

Convert the Markdown to a Mind Map Using Markmap

Use the Markmap Website:
Go to Markmap and paste your Markdown file into the editor. The mind map will be generated automatically.

Customize Your Mind Map

If you want, you can customize the map by adding more details, like new hierarchy levels, changing the visual style, or even adjusting colors and shapes according to your preferences.
