Create a free Padlet account

Go to Padlet.com and sign up for a free account. This will allow you to create and organize all your projects in one place.

Choose a format suitable for your project

Once you’re in your account, you can choose from different templates depending on what you need.

Before choosing a format, ask yourself:

  • Is this for teachingassessmentcollaboration, or presentation?
  • Will it be used synchronously (live) or asynchronously (self-paced)?
  • Who is your audience—studentseducatorsclients, or colleagues?

Create your content

Depending on the type of project you’re working on, you can use Padlet IA to facilitate creation.

Explore Available Templates

Paddle offers a variety of templates designed for different use cases. Common formats include:

  • Lesson Plans – Ideal for structuring educational content with objectives, activities, and reflections.
  • Interactive Boards – Great for brainstorming, group work, or visual mapping.
  • Quizzes & Polls – Useful for formative assessment or quick feedback.
  • Presentations – For sharing ideas in a structured, visual format.
  • Workshops – Designed for collaborative learning or professional development sessions.

Customize your project

Add additional elements such as images, videos, links, documents, and notes to make your presentation or plan more complete and visually appealing. Padlet allows you to drag and drop elements easily.

Once you’ve selected a format:

  • Edit the layout to match your flow (e.g., intro → activity → reflection).
  • Add multimedia like images, videos, or links to enrich the experience.
  • Use color coding or icons to visually organize content.

Share your project with others

Once your content is ready, you can share it with your classmates or professors to get feedback or collaborate on the project. You can do this via a link or by inviting others to your board.

Review and adjust as needed

You can continue working on your project, adding more details or adjusting what you’ve already created. If you use Padlet AI to generate ideas or structures, make sure to review and modify the information based on your needs or feedback from peers.
